What are 5 everyday things that bring you happiness?
There are times that happiness can seem so fleeting, we don’t even notice when it’s here. The trick to achieving a level of joy you’re able to maintain, however, is doing small things every single day to work towards happiness–rather than trying to achieve it all at once.
Here are five things really happy people do every day, especially when the going gets tough.
1. Exercise
It seems cliché, but physical wellness equates to mental wellness. Make sure you’re taking care of your body and offering it some kind of physical activity every single day–even if it’s only for 10 or 15 minutes. Consistency is key to feeling good–about yourself and everyone and everything else in your life.
2. Be kind
Even though there is the old saying that “nice guys finish last,” it’s important to recognize the positive impact simply being kind to the people in your life can be. Doing small gestures–like holding open doors, or doing a favor for a coworker–can go much, much farther than you would think. Choose to be kind every day; your happiness will definitely improve.
3. Surround yourself with people you love
Why spend time with those that make you feel bad about yourself, or with toxic people who want nothing more than to suck the life out of you? Choose your company carefully and surround yourself with those that you love. You’ll definitely experience a lot less negative energy than you would otherwise–and you’ll also get to build real relationships with those you genuinely care about.
4. Be grateful
Just like kindness, being grateful goes a much longer way than we ever think it does. Simply thanking people for their work–and showing those you love that you appreciate them–actually resonates with people much more than you think. The reverse of this is also definitely true; the more people express that they are grateful for the work you do, the better you’ll do it.
5. Let yourself be happy
Sometimes, we are the biggest obstacles holding ourselves back. Be happy. Let yourself enjoy things. Find comfort in laughter, love, and being in the company of those you love. Your mind, body, and soul will thank you.
It’s time for my 20-year high-school reunion. I have the wrinkles and the gray hair to prove it. Although I look back and snicker at all the keg parties I threw at my house when my mom was away, and how I always seemed to pass out in someone’s closet, what I remember most were the wise words of a few teachers who took me under their wing and asked me to probe deeper … to think long and hard about who I wanted to be when I grew up. I’m still not totally sure, but here are some of the nuggets I most appreciate.

A short and sweet line for high schooling students…
Describe one positive change you have made in your life.
Positive changes ;looks like this
. What the change was? • When it happened? • How it happened? • And explain why it was a positive change.
Introduction:
Change is an inevitable part of our lives. We all go through different phases and seasons that shape our lives and our decisions. One such positive change I experienced in my life was the decision to wake up early in the morning.
What the Change Was?
I used to wake up late in the morning and miss out on a number of activities. But I decided to make a change in my lifestyle and started waking up early in the morning.
When It Happened?
This change happened in the middle of this year. I started staying up early and getting up early. I started setting my alarm clock for 6:00 in the morning.
How it Happened?
It was not easy to make this change. It took a lot of discipline and dedication. I had to make sure I was getting enough sleep and that I was going to bed early. I also had to make sure I was eating healthy food and exercising regularly.
Why it was a Positive Change?
This change was a positive one for me. I started to feel more energetic and productive. I had a lot more time to complete my tasks and I was able to get more done in the day. I also felt better about myself and my life.
Conclusion:
Waking up early in the morning was a positive change for me. It has allowed me to make the most of my days and get more done. It has also helped me to feel more energized and motivated. This change has been a great one for me and I am thankful for it.
When you were a kid, you moved your body while playing; you didn’t think about exercising. Swinging from the monkey bars, running around the park and playing soccer with friends were par for the course of an active childhood.
If as an adult the thought of breaking a sweat breaks your spirit, it might be time to think about fun ways you can get active, just like you’re a kid again.
It’s recommended that adults do 150-300 minutes of moderate intensity physical activity a week. Starting with just 30 minutes a day will put you right in the middle of that range. But no one wants to spend half an hour a day slogging it out doing something they hate. You’ll get the most out of physical activities that you enjoy, and you’ll keep coming back for more.
Below is a list of activities that will get your heart pumping and add a bit of fun into your schedule at the same time.
Ready, set, play!
1. Walking/running games Going for a walk or a jog is an easy and accessible type of exercise, but lapping your neighbourhood can get boring quickly.
There are heaps of apps you can download that will transform your walk or run into an adventure. Zombies, Run! puts you in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, where zombies chase you as run to gather much needed supplies for your community. Geocaching games, like Ingress or Pokémon GO, ask you to interact with virtual objects placed in your real world.
2. Dance party How long has it been since you had a dance to your favourite music? Let your hair down, draw the curtains if you’ve got particularly nosy neighbours, pump some beats, and get moving. It’ll only take about eight songs for you to get your 30 minutes in, so make sure you choose your best bangers to get your heart beat up!
3. Build your own workout If getting to a gym class, or paying for one, is putting you off working out, don’t worry – you can get the same benefits from a home workout. Use the ready-made Healthier. Happier. workouts, or build your own routine of individual exercises.
4. Frisbee Frisbee is a quick and easy way to get moving with a friend. Count how many times you can throw the frisbee back and forth without dropping it, and make it more of a workout by asking them to make you run for it.
hen was the last time you moved out of your comfort zone to get active?
At a party in the vice-presidential mansion of an unnamed South American country, a band of young terrorists enters and takes hostages. The hostages include a world-renowned soprano, a Japanese business titan, and diplomats from various countries. The days and months stretch on and lines blur, relationships form, and tensions rise and fall and rise again.
This is one of my favorite books and was my first introduction to Ann Patchett– now one of my favorite authors.
If you could be a character from a book or film, who would you be? Why?
James Bond. He’s a secret agent. He gets the girl, and then some. He drives the coolest cars and has gizmos and gadgets provided for him. He’s excellent at hand to hand combat, wears snappy suits and nice shoes. He also has quite a resume, were he to ever change careers. Dude gets laid at least once a movie.

Movies and books are not real life, hence, we do not draw our ideals from them. They are materials created and produced by people who chose to extend their fantasies to others through mediums like books and movies. These books and movies however, help us to relax, perhaps even project our fantasies. This week on WhatsApp Conversation, we are out to do just that. Respondents are picking out the characters from books or movies that they would like to be:
We can confirm that there are 3 victim who were injured by gun fire in shopping mall at evening time .And transported an local area hospital in case of emergency.

We just saw everybody running, and eventually the fire alarm got pulled, and we weren’t sure what was going on,” Saulsbury said. “So we just decide to run with the crowd.”
Accidental place….
It’s unclear how many suspects were involved, Hatchell said, disclosing that “investigators believe” the shooting was the “result of an altercation between several suspects, and at least one of the victims.” No arrests were confirmed.
Here’s why we think dogs are the best pets ever… 1. They’re incredibly loyal. It’s no wonder a 40% of dog owners recently admitted they tell their dogs everything – we know we can trust them to be there for us!
Dogs. Dogs are one of the most popular pets. The bond between dogs and man can be traced back to a couple of centuries. Their faithfulness, willingness to protect their owner, and ability to give unconditional love make them such great pets.
Thanks! I would be in heaven being a tour guide somewhere beautiful and exciting. I have always found pleasure in being a part of making people happy and I love traveling. Best of both worlds for me.
